CEO and Founder
It’s about trust.
Having guided us through structuring issues, protecting intellectual property, contract negotiations and legal disputes, we no longer see Turtons as just our lawyers – they are a true business partner. They repeatedly perform above expectation which, sadly, seems very rare in the current marketplace. They have even enabled us to reduce our international legal and accounting expenditure by helping us manage and control our overseas service providers.
From my perspective, there is nothing more frustrating than being told you can’t do something, without being offered a solution. Turtons always focus on the big picture, providing solutions based on our business plan or alternatives that still align with our goals. They think laterally when needed, without going off on irrelevant tangents. They do the small things well and sometimes do things you’re not expecting.
Perhaps the biggest testament to the firm comes from the very start of our relationship. When we were starting out, the original stakeholders each had separate legal representation in negotiating shareholders agreements and other start-up documentation. Having seen multiple firms in action, the decision was unanimous: Turtons was the firm for us. Since then, we haven’t looked back.
